The Promise chipset hdd’s bootup fine as Drive C: I’m now wondering if you can only use RAID configs with one chipset or the other but not both. A RAID config program allowed me to convert them to non-raid. I’m running Windows XP Pro.

I then install and use the Intel Application Accelerator Driver from the support cd which allows me to configure the two new hdd’s as a RAID 0 configuration.

Please remember to be considerate of other members. Once that was done then the BIOS and windows would “see” the new hdd’s easily.
