Unless you were lucky and just accidentally switched off the wireless card, then if you want to continue using that notebook wirelessly, you will need to purchase an external usb wireless network adapter. So I go to Hp’s website and search the laptop’s product name then find the drivers but these drivers are for windows vista.

So far, I’ve gone to Hardware Drivers, and it says I have a Broadcom driver installed, but not active. Find the network controller device, click on that, and then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller device window.
Just make sure you didn’t inadvertently slide the wireless switch off on the left front edge of the notebook.
